Camping is for everyone. We are certain of this, and we have felt the benefits of camping with our families for a few years now. There is no replacement for getting outside, it’s just the best.
It’s taken us a long time to feel like campers though. We’re not your typical campers – or at least, we’re not the outdated image that a lot of people have for campers. We felt intimidated when we started out, because we weren’t outdoors people – whatever that meant. We just assumed that everyone else on every campsite knew a lot more than us, and we were one misplaced peg away from making complete fools of ourselves!
The irony is, of course, that the camping community is one of the most friendly, welcoming groups of people that you could ever wish to meet.
We have young families, and if the recent pandemic taught us anything, it’s that getting out and about means an awful lot to us. So we have been camping more and more, and in the process made quite a few mistakes and learned plenty of lessons!
So we have decided to create this site in an effort to make camping more accessible for people. Looking at hundreds of tents, sleeping bags, raincoats, camping chairs, travel mugs – it can be bewildering to the point that people just give up. So we want to help.
On this site we will provide you with an ever-growing supply of camping reviews, lists, tips and advice. We want you to find the best tents, the best camping chairs, the best sleeping bags, the best everything-to-do-with-camping for your needs and budget.
Most of all, we want everyone to get out there and enjoy being outside
